AcropolisofAthens.gr is a good-will, non-profit initiative that aims to promote culture and education, and the protection of cultural and natural heritage with an emphasis on the value of local heritage. The vision is an honest, peaceful and just world in which heritage is respected and everyone has the equal opportunity to evolve with it. AcropolisofAthens.gr also aims to help reunite all of the parts of the Acropolis, its sculptures and architectural members, in one meaningful set in Athens. It is envisaged that this gesture will inspire more people to appreciate and restore monuments physically and conceptually, as a means of fostering education and bonding in the human society. Heritage is not about ownership or prestige, but about developing our thinking and empowering people through education.
