Since 1975, an ongoing, internationally acclaimed restoration and conservation programme has been taking place on the Acropolis. Comprising a number of projects that aim to stabilise, conserve and prolong the life of the buildings of the Athenian Acropolis, including the Parthenon, the programme is supported by the Greek state and the European Union. Take a moment to visit the official website of the Acropolis Restoration Service and read about the Acropolis Restoration Project.
