Ancient Greeks trusted their dreams. Citizens around their world trust their vision.
|
In ancient Greece, citizens would use their dreams to improve their health. They would interpret the symbolism in their dreams, seeking to unlock blockages towards better living. Asclepius cured his patients in his temples through a series of rituals for body and soul. Patients had to drink water from fountains near the temples, and have relaxing baths to reach peace and calm. They slept in the Avaton, a part of the temple, and worked on their dreams to heal themselves. Today, we continue to follow our heart, in our search of something better. We envisage, individually and collectively, to design free spaces to evolve in. It is our inherent thirst for good change that makes us form vision and be guided by it. World Heritage is one of the best visions we've looked at together. Working on it has brought humanity to new premises towards something better. This is what the reunification of the Parthenon sculptures is part of. Sharing a global vision as a piece of our self-discovery, it is carved in trust, as a good guide to something excellent.
