The missing pieces

In this section you can find pictures of most of the Parthenon sculptures that are currently held in London, miles away from the actual monument. Sadly, the British Museum refuses to return the sculptures to Athens, demonstrating ownership instead of true appreciation of art and world heritage. Reuniting these detached pieces with the existing ones in Athens would be the ultimate act of antiquity conservation and seal the long friendship of Britain and Greece.
