Today, with the new Acropolis Museum by the Acropolis, and an advanced global understanding that art is not owned but belongs to everyone, is the right moment in history to unite the parts of a creation that is as real and intimate as our very understanding of ourselves.

The Acropolis Museum is now ready. It opened on 20 June 2009, in an opening ceremony that signified the historic importance of the new museum for the conservation of the Acropolis monument.
